New album, new MP3 download, and tour dates

Hi everyone,

Some very exciting items to share with you:
 
A)  NEW ALBUM We have a new album coming out on March 6th.  It is called Strange Land.  It feels like an eternity since The Mistress came out, it's amazing to finally be able to show you the new stuff we've been working on since then.

Album release! and shows with the Antlers

The Barsuk re-release of our album is now officially "out."  You can order the CD and digital downloads here on our website.  It's also available at iTunes, Amazon, Rhapsody, Spotify, etc. The vinyl is still available from Afternoon Records.

Yellow Ostrich signs to Barsuk Records

Big news today - we've signed with Barsuk Records!  they are a great label, and we are very excited to be working together.  Barsuk will be re-releasing The Mistress on August 16th.  More details to come about this re-release. 

Secondly, we have a few big shows coming up that we're looking forward to:

Friday, June 17 - NYC 2:30 pm, WNYC Soundcheck live in-studio performance -- listen at http://www.wnyc.org/shows/soundcheck/

Friday June 17 - NYC  6:30 pm, Northside Fest in Brooklyn NY, opening for BEIRUT and SHARON VAN ETTEN

Thursday, June 23 - Chicago IL 9 pm, Schubas, Do312 1-Year Birthday Bash (w/Peter Wolf Crier)
